Notes

We arrived late at night, we do our normal evening travel and setup. Setting up at night can be daunting, Donna and I have it down to a science. We travel so much at night it is often a strange feeling to be setting up during the day. Setting up at night is highly frowned upon by other travelers, we try our best to be respectful by keeping noise down, headlights off and away from other rigs. My apologies for traveling at night and making noise after sundown.

We were at Fletcher campground two years ago, after visiting Zion. I am glad we came back, it is a nice place with good hiking and walking. The temperatures are just right and in the hottest months, running the A/C is helpful. The grounds are quiet and dark. The Odd sites are reservation only and the Evens are first come first served. You can stay in the campground for 14 days, then you must be out for 30 days.

Many bugs seem to be present this trip, mainly flies and moths. At night it’s good to be mindful what lights are on when opening doors.

The campground is easy to get into late at night. However you will annoy the neighbors and possibly the campground host. Likely you will need to move some barricades as the campground hosts are diligent about preventing unnecessary traffic. `
