Jefferson County Lake Camping Trip with Starlink

Where we camped
Campground
This was an overnight stay. The grounds were beautiful, I loved the area. I have a feeling this would be a fun place in the early fall months when temps are warm. We were cooking through on our way to Yellowstone. The walking around the lake was nice. I was impressed with how much water was flowing and available. All the grass was green and the trees were healthy. Coming across Utah from California it’s easy to forget other places have an abundance of water.
The campground/county park was well maintained. The walking paths were plentiful. We arrived late and the check-in process was easy. This was a great place to stop over and enjoy a slow morning. A interesting point is the park had no alcohol signs everywhere. It was clear to me that the park was family focused as it had water slides, a beach and second kid beach area.
I would be excited to stay here for a few more days our next time through.
The drive into Idaho.
We came up from Kolob canyon on the I15. Rigby is just outside Idaho Falls, the weather was putting on a show. The rain was hard and consistent for many hours. Arriving in Idaho late in the afternoon the rain had stopped and the air was crisp. We were excited to get on the road the next day to make it to West Yellowstone.
