Airstreaming in Whistler, Canada

Where we camped
We stayed at the Riverside by Parkside Camping and RV Parks. The park was nice, they were doing tree maintenance so during the day many chainsaws and stump grinders were working in the area. They were respectful though by keeping the work away from campers and keeping the area of the campground shut down where the arborists were working. We did need to choose a site carefully that would support starlink. The tree cover could be challenging for connectivity. The RV park was close to everything we wanted to do. I would stay here again.
Cycling
Gravel Riding
The gravel cycling in and around Whistler is amazing. At one point I looked down at my Wahoo head unit and the amount of trails had me overwhelmed/confused. My learning, was to just ride (pick a path, ride it, pick another). I did do some planning, but when I got out on the trails I quickly got distracted and wanted to follow paths that were not on my plan. The weather was perfect for riding in middle May. The gravel/dirt riding here is ulta fun, it ranges from all material, baby heads, pea gravel, mossy forest substrate. The conditions and terrain are the most fun I have had on a gravel bike. Many people go here for mountain biking, however I think the gravel is remarkable. Black bears are on the trails here. I saw many while riding, they are mostly docile, however like all wild animals, give them as much room as you can.
Road Riding
The roads are fun here too, many places to go and hills to ride. The traffic controls and residents are well suited to road riding. Finding a couple hour ride with a stop in the middle for coffee is easy. I enjoyed riding the road here, however when talking to residents and seasonal workers, the consensus was that riding the road is not as much fun as mountain/trail riding. I did ride more trails then road while here.
Hiking
Our hiking routine is mostly multiple longish (.5 - 1+ hour) walks with the dogs. The area has many great walking trails which had us taking a different paths daily. Much enjoyment was had by all the feet involved. Want to walk around a golf course, you have a few to choose from. Rather a tour of a lake, take a right, want to walk to town along the river, yep that route is available too. What about a walk in the forest after you walked to town along the river, yep you can do it.
