Location
We stayed at Sequoia RV Ranch, three miles from “town”. The RV park is on the river with many sites to choose from that have direct access to the river. We were there in January so use of the swimming hole on the river was not desired. The park was split in the middle with daily weekly on one side and monthly/permanent on the other. We were constantly chasing away at least one loose dog that originated from the monthly area of the park. The walking paths and the facility was enjoyable. I think my favorite thing was the community that the information board supplied. The board was updated daily with sites and last names. Having a community board with personal information of campers that I was sharing space with was novel.I was able to get lots of cycling in, riding dirt roads that had great access to the National Park. Encountering a large bull twice on a single ride, easily reminded me of how feeble I am. The town was cute I had a good espresso at the Kaweah Roasters. The local grocery store had a good selection of vegetables, meat, and nice people.
Starlink
The starlink worked well. I meet the local WISP owner, who seemed mostly defensive. I assume I seemed like somebody that would sabotage his network. I guess when you are subjected to part 15 it easiest to assume that all interactions will have unintended interference.
Hookups
The park had full hookups, our site was directly on the river. We had a nice fire along the river. The neighbor was a nightmare RV user who was comfortable with leaking his sewage all over the ground, due to a unmaintained sewer hose.
