Hambly Lavender Farm, cool products, beautiful views, and lavender smells
Location
Staying at Hambly Lavender Farm was a real treat. Site was easy to get to (~2 miles from the freeway), level, had wonderful views, and no annoying flying bugs. The store with lavender products was fun. Donna was able to choose gifts for people, acquire goat milk lavender soap, and lavender/honey gelato. We played a game of dominoes on the stores patio while watching the sunset. We were also excited to try a local Mexican food restaurant Taco Mafia. We both enjoyed the food and the next time we are in SLO we will return. Donna had pazole which made her happy, lots of hominy and great flavor. Donna has been fighting sickness since our last campfire at Mystic Falls RV Camp Roberts was performing controlled burns, we could not smell it but the smoke was visible.
An Army communications station is on the horizon which was cool to see. Large SATCOM equipment was towering over the grape vines.
