Page, Arizona Glen Canyon
Location
Antelope Point RV Campground
Donna and I agree, the campground is good and bad. The things we really liked, were the location, views, breeze, and darkness. The low points were the lack of any walking for us or the dogs, no shade, felt restrictive. When we run into these good and bad things, I tend to lean toward the good. I would be happy to go back.
Lake Powell has ~186 miles of lake access. The amount of houseboats on the lake is staggering. We commonly saw houseboats towing speed boats, towing jet skis. Boats towing other boats via tether. I suppose with so much space, much room for error is allowed.
Donna and I scheduled tours for slot canyons and Horseshoe Bend. I have never been inside a slot canyon and was impressed. The impact of water and wind on the sandstone is incredible to observe. Looking at slot canyon flash flood videos I can only imagine the violence that occurs in the canyons during downpour. The tour company was Horseshoe Bend Slot Canyon tours We thoroughly enjoyed our time on the tour. So many tour opportunities in Page to choose from, the geology is impressive everywhere you look. Go see this place.

Hanging gardens
A Natural hanging garden happens as water is pushed out of the sandstone and erosion has created a concave area. Orchids and other plants establish along the walls and give an amazing display of vivid green along the sandstone.
Dam Tour
Glen Canyon Dam is impressive. Another engineering marvel implemented by the reclamation service allowing the West Coast to flourish.
